About
Explore Underground With Curiosity and Responsibility
Maverick Grotto is designed as an independent caving and geology resource for people interested in caves, safety and conservation.
Why caving is different
Caves combine confined spaces, darkness, navigation challenges and delicate geology in one environment.
Why safety matters
Communication and redundancy become more important underground because help may be far away.
Why conservation matters
Many formations and habitats are fragile and can be permanently damaged by careless contact.
