Celebrating 20 years as a Texas caving organization in 2006! The Maverick Grotto is the local caving club of
Fort Worth and
Tarrant County Texas. We are dedicated to promoting safe, fun, and environmentally conscious caving. Our grotto is an internal organization of the
National Speleological Society.

Golondrinas in Mexico, is one of the high adventure caves of the
caving world with it's 1000+ foot drop. It's been featured in several commercials
with people parachuting into it, both jumping off the side and out of a
helicopter.
The adventure of caving is literally seeing the world from the inside out.

Here's another chance to see
the world from the inside out. If you look closely you can see a
giant pseudo scorpion just to the right at the bottom of the shovel
handle.
